This tour aims to uncover the lost treasures of ancient history and the natural wonders of Pakistan’s northern valleys. Pakistan has been the supporting land of many civilizations for centuries. The famous Indus valley civilization is the milestone of human civilization in the southern plain of Pakistan. There were two types known as the Harappa in the 7th millennium BC and the moejodaro in the 4th millennium BC. The Gandhara civilization related to Buddhism was known for its spiritual power, Art and Architecture. The time period of this civilization was from 500 BC to the 10th Century AD.

This was the center point for Buddhism and it spread to the east and also towards Korea and Japan. The art and architecture of this place have been maintained in the swat and Taxila valley despite the whims for centuries. The remains of Gandhara civilization are preserved in the museum of London, Srinagar, Delhi, and Karachi but the finest remains are preserved in Peshawar, Taxila, and Swat. Perhaps more fascinating is the tour of the archeological sites that were found in the twentieth century in Taxila, Swat, some of the areas of Gilgit Baltistan, and the northwest frontier province of Pakistan. While traveling to Gilgit Baltistan we can recapture ancient histories like the Ghandhara along the Indus River, the Gilgit, and the Hunza River. Such statues not only display the Guest book of merchants passing by but also represents the universal beliefs of fairy worshippers of history.

The most popular and well-known of which are the Gandhara Civilization and the Indus civilization. Not only Pakistan but almost all countries around the world display the Ghandhara pieces of Art are in exhibition in their galleries. The first mentioned in the Rig- Veda is the Gandhara Art, it is the ancient Peshawar valley and the cradle of Buddhist civilization which gave birth to Gandhara Art. According to a Darius era in the 6th century BC, it remained one of the Achaemenian Empire provinces.  Pushkalavati was the capital of this place from 6th to 1st Century AD and was occupied in Mauryan, indo-Greek, Scythian, Parthians, and Kushans who choose their capital Peshawar in 1st Century AD. Peshawar was known as Pushapura and later named Peshawar.

The Shahi dynasty formed its capital at Hund in 7TH century AD till the Gaznavid attack in 998 AD. This bought an end to the Gandhara rule. Through the exploration of British, Italian, and Pakistani scholars the Gandhara Art collection was bought to Peshawar, Taxila, and Swat museum some of well-known sites and antiquities are the Rani Gat, Andan Dheri, Rani Dheri, Aziz Dheri, Saidu Stupa, Bukhara, Takht-i-bahi Shari Bahlol and the monasteries.
