The Hunza Valley is a mountainous valley located in the northern region of the Gilgit-Baltistan administered by Pakistan.
The valley stretches along theย Hunza Riverย and shares borders withย Ishkomanย to the northwest,ย Shigarย to the southeast,ย Afghanistan’sย Wakhan Corridorย to the north, andย China’sย Xinjiang region to the northeast.ย The valley floor sits at an elevation of 2,438 meters (7,999 feet). Geographically, the Hunza Valley is divided into three parts: Upper Hunza (Gojal), Central Hunza, and Lower Hunza (Shinaki).
